A State of Delirium

Based on Delirium, the youngest of the Endless, from Neil Gaiman's graphic novel series The Sandman. Although I love Dream, I sometimes think I'm most like Delirium. I also disliked the way she was portrayed in most of the books, one of the few exceptions being the picture of her in Endless Nights. It was that image of her, a confused girl with long, curly red-and-multi-colored hair that inspired this picture.

This is also the first time I've drawn anything in colored pencil, so it was quite fun. My traditional art tends to be black and white, but for Delirium I just had to have color.
